Our outfits were Vday inspired- pinks, reds, and of course hearts and cute little studs <3

Honestly, Celia and I both don't care too much for this holiday. Love should be celebrated all the time and it shouldn't be just a day for couples either that's why we've switched it up and geared it towards best friends ;) all LOVE items are specially discounted in our store right now, can you find them? We say spoil your bestie, this day is the perfect excuse to and it's what we love doing to each other.

Our Winter Coats

It has been super windy the past few times we've taken outfit photos- windy and cold. Our winter coats kept us warm though. Winter is the perfect time to layer, layer on the clothes and of course add an extra layer of you know what from all the food we've been eating...haha

The new year has started off busy for us so we're trying our best to keep up with blogging! For the most part we can work around our schedules but it's been hard working around the weather...it rains one second and is sunny the next, Cali is being bipolar.

Shhh.. Can anyone spy something different with C? 

These boots WERE made for walking! They are the most comfy boots ever and they go with almost every outfit.  C and I went shopping a while ago and came across these cute boots at Cathy Jean- they were on sale and could work folded down too! We both wanted them...so we both got them.  That happens a lot with us when we shop...we almost always end up buying some of the same things.

The weather has finally been feeling like fall- I can't wait for Fall but I also don't know if my body is ready for the cold haha but either way, I'm happy! Time to dust off my coats, leggings, boots and layer on the clothes ;)

Also, if you haven't noticed already, C has chopped off her long hair! This is a pretty big deal because this girl has had long, long hair for YEARS (15+ years to be exact) and she finally got enough courage to chop it. It may not be a big change to all of you but on her, it's a BIG change- it's refreshing, new and I love it!

Election Day!

 Happy Election Day! It's an important day- we hope everyone already has or will be voting today!

Our outfit post was inspired by Election Day- red, white, and blue.  Our Buylove tote bags went perfectly with our outfits too because of the red ink.

We've been hoping and praying for the fall weather to stay but it looks like it's back to summer weather again..it was back up to 90's this past weekend...only in Cali will we be able to dress in summer outfits during fall.

On another note, we had a small photoshoot for Buylove last Friday and were excited that we will be able to release a few new items out to you before the holidays.. so stay tuned! We have some super cute things in store for you all ;)

Dressing it Down

J's Outfit: Dress- Forever 21, Jacket- Urban Outfitters, Boots- Forever 21

C's Outfit: Dress & Beanie- H&M, Vest- Forever 21

When we were younger we used to spend, spend, spend...on what? On items that we wore once and never wore again- not because we didn't like wearing the same thing twice because the items we bought were one hit wonders (weird colored items or fashion trends that would NEVER come back again).  As we got older, we got smarter and started purchasing items that can be worn multiple times and can even be versatile enough to dress up or dress down! 

Were both wearing dresses that we were able to dress down, I paired my tie-dye dress with a leather jacket, some flat boots and it made it less dressy, C added a denim vest to her dress, cute sandals and it brought the outfit down too. I love when I score on items like these! It makes me happy when I can wear an item multiple times just by changing my accessories around and it instantly turns it into a whole new outfit ;)

Girls Night Out!

C and I were in Little Tokyo last night, there was a FALL FEST event at the Japanese American Museum that had wine tasting and live music! We haven't seen each other in a while (even a few days seems like forever) so we decided to turn it into girls night out! We had dinner, spent some time in Little Tokyo and got desserts afterwards, it's always great to catch up with your BFF and we had a LOT to catch up on especially with the start of Halloween coming up...

Prints, Prints, Prints

I know I've mentioned in a post before that I was on the search for some floral pants...well, Celia has found a cute pair and I on the other hand still have not. But it's Ok! I found some Camo printed pants that I absolutely LOVE so that itch is gone ;)

Printed pants are so fun and easy, they instantly jazz up outfits without even doing much and they're perfect for the transition into fall. I also love not having to worry about the rest of my outfit when wearing printed pants- they make statements on its own.  Zara has some really cute ones out right now if you're having trouble finding some, great prints and PERFECT fits!

Also, C and I watched Pitch Perfect the other night and it was hilarious (watch it if you haven't already!)- we're officially in love with Fat Amy, she was the highlight of the movie <3

Happy October! It's the first day of October- from this point on there's a holiday to celebrate each month...I can't wait it's my favorite part of the year. In celebration of Halloween coming up, we themed our post black and white- the two basic colors that go with EVERYTHING!

Does everyone have costumes in mind for Halloween? It's our FAVORITE holiday so stay tuned, it's going to be a FUN month of blogging for us. Every year we usually DIY our costumes, they're so much better and more fun then spending tons of money on store bought costumes...stay tuned, we haven't figured out what were going to be this year yet but it'll be GOOD like always ;)

Floral Patterns

A while ago I did an inspiration post on floral patterns- I was loving it then and I'm still loving it now! Since floral patterns make a statement on its own I like to keep the rest of my outfit simple. Celia and I worked on a few things for Buylove this past Saturday and it was HOT (it was around 90-100 degrees this weekend!) so our floral skirts were perfect & kept us cool.
