Wow, Can't believe it's already December! The weather has been cooling down.. although you probably can't tell by our outfits, these were taken a couple weeks ago when it wasn't as chilly. Although the busiest time of the year (stressful!) this is also definitely our favorite time of the year because we get to focus on spending time with our family and friends and of course, each other. 

We are spending the weekend in San Diego together, we did this last year and it was soo fun, we kind of decided to make it a annual bff (short) trip together during the holidays. Excited for our mini getaway and to catch up on all the girl talk that we've missed due to our busy schedules.

Faux Fun

I took these over Christmas break after watching Les Miserables with my family. It was kind of chilly and I thought it would be fun to wear this vest I got for a casual day out. Like J mentioned in the previous post, I am already missing the holiday season but am definitely looking forward to what 2013 will bring for us! oh and as you can see, my love for beanies continues... ;)

Layering

The best thing about the weather lately, layers! You can always count on Cali for perfect weather and winter in Cali...is awesome.  I found this super comfy sweater the other day and it looks thick but it isn't so I was able to layer it with other items, it gave me the perfect amount of warmth ;) the studs on the shoulders were an added bonus!

My little sister is home for the holidays so I'm enjoying my family time- she only comes back a few times during the year. What does everyone have planned for NYE? I keep forgetting it's coming up next week...I can't believe another year is right around the corner!

The weather has been cooling down a lot and I find myself grabbing my beanies and scarves every day. Wore this outfit for a casual day out with J- having some alone time with her was what I really needed. With Christmas around the corner, I'm really enjoying spending time with my loved ones. It's these moments in life that truly matter. Can't wait to see what 2013 has in store for us!

Happy ALMOST Holidays! This past weekend C was my date to a Christmas event I had to attend to. Dressing for the Holidays can be festive and fun if you want it to be...it's the only time of year where wearing greenish and red tones together makes sense. This weekend was also our Christmas "gifts" to each other, we ate and drank wine Saturday and shopped the entire day Sunday..it's been a while since we spent the weekend together so it was really great catching up- we needed this ;)

We hope all of you are almost or DONE with Christmas shopping! Going to the mall this weekend was fun but also horrible at the same time...crowds of people and ridiculous parking. We were SOO happy when we finally found a parking spot after going through every single parking structure with no luck. I'm not even joking we were screaming and high-fiving and jumping up and down, we were THAT happy about finding...a parking spot. 

It was that bad but also felt that GOOD when we found one so good luck at the malls this weekend! C and I are wearing our favorite LOVE Tee's- they are SOOO comfortable to wear and they pretty much go with everything! We just got them launched on our site and they are now available for all of you to share the tee with your favorite person too ;)

We both happened to wear printed pants which is awesome because sometimes it can be hard to style around prints..this just goes to show the tee really does go with everything.

The malls lately have been CRAZY (shopping online is the best thing ever) and we usually try to avoid it especially during this time of year but C and I have decided to go with the madness and do a mall trip this weekend, it will be our Christmas day together and I can't wait. It's been a while since C and I had a relaxing day outside of our regular day jobs + Buylove work.

Were going to re-kindle our best friend relationship this weekend, lol.

Election Day!

 Happy Election Day! It's an important day- we hope everyone already has or will be voting today!

Our outfit post was inspired by Election Day- red, white, and blue.  Our Buylove tote bags went perfectly with our outfits too because of the red ink.

We've been hoping and praying for the fall weather to stay but it looks like it's back to summer weather again..it was back up to 90's this past weekend...only in Cali will we be able to dress in summer outfits during fall.

On another note, we had a small photoshoot for Buylove last Friday and were excited that we will be able to release a few new items out to you before the holidays.. so stay tuned! We have some super cute things in store for you all ;)

Subtle Prints

Happy Friday! Subtle prints like mini florals and stripes (my top is very thinly striped) made our outfits coordinate in its own way- basic colors like black/white/browns/greys mixed in with random colors here and there are always my go-to type outfits, 1 colored item and the rest basic..easy!

Can't believe it's OCTOBER next week...Oct is the official start to the holidays (if you don't know already Halloween is one of our FAVORITE holidays!) so as excited as we are that Oct is right around the corner...it's also freaking us out that it's...right around the corner. We haven't even planned out our costumes yet and usually we know WAY ahead of time what were going to be...

time needs to slow down a little.
