Wow, Can't believe it's already December! The weather has been cooling down.. although you probably can't tell by our outfits, these were taken a couple weeks ago when it wasn't as chilly. Although the busiest time of the year (stressful!) this is also definitely our favorite time of the year because we get to focus on spending time with our family and friends and of course, each other. 

We are spending the weekend in San Diego together, we did this last year and it was soo fun, we kind of decided to make it a annual bff (short) trip together during the holidays. Excited for our mini getaway and to catch up on all the girl talk that we've missed due to our busy schedules.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, J & I have been going through a lot these past couple weeks, including moving (yes.. we are BOTH moving although miles apart from each other-- our lives are so parallel it's crazy!). Wore this outfit over the weekend, didn't plan to have a flag in the photos but kind of works because it's Memorial Day weekend. Didn't get to do much this memorial day weekend because of the move, but now that I'm more settled, hoping to get into the groove of things again. Also, got to skype with J the day I wore this outfit, it was good catching up after weeks of stress-- officiallly ONE MONTH before we are reunited and cannot wait!

oh how i miss my other half, J! Even though we are miles apart, we are still matching which i love love LOVE :) 

It's been heating up in LA, so I'm finding myself grabbing skirts/shorts and sandals lately- as you can tell in this outfit. Although, I did hear on the radio it was going to rain this Sunday, so not sure what's going on! As J mentioned in her entry, this shirt is perfect for this weather... it is lightweight and so easy to match with almost anything. Can't believe it's going to be April soon, where has all the time gone?? Good news is, the faster time goes by, the sooner J is homee- yay!

I've mentioned before that it's ridiculously hot here in Vietnam- I step out and I'm drenched with sweat within seconds. Thankfully I packed my Buylove LOVE tee (can be bought here). It's made of a thin material that isn't too heavy or too light and that makes it the perfect tee, especially in this weather!  

And as an added bonus to why I love it, it reminds me of C because we share the shirt set with each other- she has the other half <3. The simple black/white colors make it easy to outfit around too. I paired them with my lace shorts from Zara and threw on a denim vest to add some color.

Even though C and I are miles and miles apart right now, I LOVE that we have these matching tee's because it reminds me of who I'm sharing it with so it never feels like she's too far. Who would you share this LOVE tee set with?

J and I are at that age where we are slowly (actually it feels pretty quick!) leaving our mid-20's and entering our late 20's. This can be such an exciting but scary time because there is so much that is unknown but so much hope of what's to come in life. Opening our own business together has taught us so much about what life is truly about- embracing every moment and doing what we truly believe in because life is too short to waste on "whatever" days. So when J was considering taking a few months to travel and embrace a great opportunity that came her way, I was nothing but excited for her- ok, I'm not going to lie, I was really sad that she would be far from me... but mostly, very very excited for her & this new experience! I think the quote above truly describes what I would like to say to her right now ;)

Friendship isn't always about being with each other 24/7 but it's knowing that even apart, you have that ONE person who will always be there for you, supporting you and cheering you on. so... It has been super windy the past few times we've taken outfit photos- windy and cold. Our winter coats kept us warm though. Winter is the perfect time to layer, layer on the clothes and of course add an extra layer of you know what from all the food we've been eating...haha

The new year has started off busy for us so we're trying our best to keep up with blogging! For the most part we can work around our schedules but it's been hard working around the weather...it rains one second and is sunny the next, Cali is being bipolar.
