Happy ALMOST Holidays! This past weekend C was my date to a Christmas event I had to attend to. Dressing for the Holidays can be festive and fun if you want it to be...it's the only time of year where wearing greenish and red tones together makes sense. This weekend was also our Christmas "gifts" to each other, we ate and drank wine Saturday and shopped the entire day Sunday..it's been a while since we spent the weekend together so it was really great catching up- we needed this ;)

We hope all of you are almost or DONE with Christmas shopping! Going to the mall this weekend was fun but also horrible at the same time...crowds of people and ridiculous parking. We were SOO happy when we finally found a parking spot after going through every single parking structure with no luck. I'm not even joking we were screaming and high-fiving and jumping up and down, we were THAT happy about finding...a parking spot. 

It was that bad but also felt that GOOD when we found one so good luck at the malls this weekend! As most of you know, I just came back from Cabo! Although it's great to be home, it was definitely amazing to really relax and get away for a couple days. I hate packing and tend to always over pack- Cabo was no different. I was texting Jamie while packing and her advice was to not overpack because I will probably be living in my bathing suit and ofcourse, SHE WAS RIGHT! ;D It was so hot/humid and I was constantly around water so my bathing suits were my go-to. Being at the resort for a couple days, I saw so many girls with such cute bathing suits that right when I came home I started looking online... totally obsessed right now!!

While C's getting ready for her week and a half trip to Cabo I'm on the side pretending and dreaming I'm there with her ;) We love summer because summer is the perfect time for tropical vacations and we've decided you NEED to have at least one (or more) tropical vacation every summer!

Have you guys read or seen this article before? Celia emailed it to me a few weeks ago and it was eye opening- "life is a result of intentional habits. So I decided to do the things that were most important to me first, not last...You won’t always be young. And life won’t always be just about you. So travel, young person. Experience the world for all it’s worth. Become a person of culture, adventure, and compassion. While you still can."

I completely agree. Every year, do SOME type of traveling. I say at least 3 (or more) trips each year, it should be ours (and yours) resolution every year...take trips and travel more! Have a great weekend everyone ;)
