Buylove inspired, bathing suits!

images via here, here, here, here, here, here, here, & here

As most of you know, I just came back from Cabo! Although it's great to be home, it was definitely amazing to really relax and get away for a couple days. I hate packing and tend to always over pack- Cabo was no different. I was texting Jamie while packing and her advice was to not overpack because I will probably be living in my bathing suit and ofcourse, SHE WAS RIGHT! ;D It was so hot/humid and I was constantly around water so my bathing suits were my go-to. Being at the resort for a couple days, I saw so many girls with such cute bathing suits that right when I came home I started looking online... totally obsessed right now!!

Buylove, Inspired: Braid LOVE.

Images via here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here

After attending a wedding this past weekend and doing braids (crown and snail braid) with my cousin (hi A!), it's reminded me how much I love braids. There are so many different types of braids- i want to try them all! Ever since LC (the hills, haha!) made the little side braid popular, I've always thought braids were such a fun easy way to dress up your hair! I've had long hair for awhile and braiding my hair is a go-to way to keep it out of my face without looking too messy. Love how some of these girls added accessories to their braids, super cute! :)

Of course had to include two photos of my fav, LC.. I love the little braids she did.. so little you almost can't notice it but when you do, you realize it's the perrfect touch! LOVE!

Buylove, Inspired.

We hope everyone had an amazing long weekend! Here's a little inspiration Tuesday to start off our short week. Hearts as a pattern or hearts in general can make anything look cute, I'm drawn to them and I can't get enough! 1) Heart tights- we wore similar ones here but the bigger hearts make these cuter! 2) Heart at the knees (check back with us, we'll be doing a DIY on these soon) 3) LOVE this open heart cut-out on the back 4) Looks adorable as a front cut-out too! 5) Heart shades, perfect for summer- Celia has them and I still need to get myself one! 6/9) Heart patterns on blouses, dress them up or down they're perfect for any occasion. 7/8) Heart designs on casual items like sweaters and flats- Love it. I love how versatile and simple heart designs can be.

Music Festival Season!

With Coachella coming up this weekend, we thought it would be fun to do a post about music festival outfits! Main things we thought about while packing: the outfit must be comfortable (most festivals are all day long), colorful (to put yourself in the mood for a good time), and FUN (use this time to do something different). Look below to see how Jamie and I styled the items above! FYI-- while doing this post, we realized all the items were purchased from Forever21, showing that you DON'T need to break the bank to look cute.

For those of you going to Coachella Weekend 1, we're hearing that the weather is not looking to good right now so don't forget to pack some light jackets, cardigans, and blankets. Rain or shine, we'll have fun!!! :)

DIY FRIDAY: Flower Crowns!

We can't believe it's COACHELLA next week (already?! and yes, we are both going!). We thought it would be fun to surprise some of our close girlfriends who are going with us with flower crowns so we can match and feel young again next weekend :) In preparation for the much anticipated coachella, we decided to do a DIY this friday for flower crowns.

Our inspiration for this is from The Beauty Department- they have so many cute ideas on this site that you can easily make in the comfort of your own home. As you can see however, we tweaked the idea around a little for it to work for us. For our DIY all you need is some yarn, fake flowers (roses, daisies, be etc!), thread/needle or hot glue gun. Use the braided yarn as a foundation to stick each flower stem through and all you have to do is hot glue or sew the stems down on the other side. Follow each step of the photos above and you can easily create the perfect, ever-lasting flower crown.

We are excited for next weekend, maybe we will see some of you there!
