Happy Birthday, J!!

Dear J:

It’s your birthday today (here in the states) and I feel like something is missing that the day is going by and I’m not picking up cupcakes or doughnuts or spoiling you with presents ;)  It definitely hit me today that you are not with me and although it makes me sad I can’t be there to spend your bday with you, I am so happy for you and everything you are experiencing!

The older we get, the more I realize how truly special our friendship is- we’ve literally been through it ALL and I realize now that friendship isn’t about partying together (although that’s super fun too lol) or spending 24/7 together, true friendship is loving and accepting each other as we are and being their for each every step of the way.

 As we reach our “late 20’s” CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! ….. lol don’t kill me…. We are starting our path of true “adulthood” but just know that I will always be there for you to go on a cupcake run, watch movies in our pjs, or be crazy with because we are each other’s youth #foreveryoung baby!!! :D love you! Better be kicking butt over in asia!

Buylove, Inspired: Flowy Dresses.

Oh, I'm in love with these dresses! I'm going to a wedding this weekend so I've been very inspired by these long, flowy dresses I've been seeing online- they are a lot harder to find in person though. These dresses are so perfect and as you see, can range from casual dresses to formal ones- each one pretty in it's own way. The last photo seriously makes me wish I could go back to my high school prom and pick a completely new dress, haha.. I wish :)

What We Wore: Blazers!

Yesterday Jamie and I got to hang out with our old friends for a delicious hamburger dinner. Whenever we hang out with this group of friends we always have a huge feast and this time was no different :) We had Slaters 50/50 and it definitely lived up to it's hype. Jamie's brother (who's visiting from Georgia!) ordered a 1LB burger and finished every last bite!!

This restaurant is a casual one, but since we don't see these friends as often as we would like, it was also a special occasion for us. Because of this, Jamie and I decided to wear our blazers for a casual/dressy look. Blazers, I believe, are a go-to item for ANY closet because it is a very easy way to dress up an outfit! It is also a great way to stay warm while looking polished and put together. As you can see, our otherwise casual outfits looked a little more dressy with our blazers.

Ever since the whole LIN-craze started, Jamie and I have agreed to disagree. Jamie hasn't jumped on the bandwagon (YET, haha) but i am LINsane for MY Jeremy ;)

 deep down though we can both agree on one thing... our #1 love is still for our LAKERS!!!!!
